Jay was in quick need of an impactful headshot for use at a business convention where he was going to deliver an address. We rushed him into the studio that same day and created what we feel is one of the best business headshots or portraits we’ve ever done.
We employed one of our favorite lighting setups and chose a background that is all about texture. When background texture is rich it conveys a sense of knowledge and seriousness. Knowledge and seriousness definitely came through in this image.
But, as with most of our clients, the subject himself brought the elements that elevated the quality of image. He came to the studio with a perfectly ironed white shirt which provided excellent contrast with his black sports jacket. His hair was perfectly in place and his silver locks complimented his clothing.
The most important component Jay brought to the shoot was confidence. At The Headshot Works we know exactly how to position you to exude confidence. In Jay’s case, he brought that confidence into the studio which travelled right through the lens. We love this shot!
