I’m John Santoro, and I want to make you look great.

I’ve photographed across the United States and Europe as a portrait, news, and travel photographer for United Press International and as an independent photographer. My work has appeared in publications including The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Sports Illustrated, and many others.

Making beautiful images that tell a story has always been my passion.

As my career brought me to Southern California, more and more business professionals, actors, friends, and families began asking me to create photographs that felt natural and truly reflected who they are. That growing demand inspired me to create The Headshot Works.

Today, my focus is simple: helping people create photographs they’ll feel confident sharing.
